A racing model based on the Porsche 356 SL Gmund Coupe. It was prepared exactly for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, when Ferdinand Porsche received a personal invitation to participate from the race organizer - Charles Faroux. A total of two cars were made. During the race, one of them got into a terrible accident, and the second one won the race in the classes of 1000 cm³ and 1500 cm³, showing an excellent average speed of 140 km/h on the lap for a liter displacement engine. It is currently in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
