Russell Motor Hi-Way Patrol No. 1 '1920–26 Produced in 172 copies

The road-building industry's first motorized, self-propelled motor grader was the Russell Motor Hi-Way Patrol No. 1. Introduced in 1919, it was powered by a two-wheeled tractor unit supplied by Allis-Chalmers. The motor grader was officially offered for sale in 1920.
