Expedition with members of Oxford University and Cambridge University. The third of the series of expeditions as a race between both universities, crossing Africa from north to south and back again, over 25,000 miles, from June 1954 to December 1954.

В 1958 году на базе трактора С-100Б была изготовлена партия тракторов С-100А для Советской Антарктической экспедиции. Основное отличие от "болотохода" С-100Б - 5-катков в ходовой части от стандартного С-100. Для обеспечения работы машины на высоте до 4000 метров над уровнем моря был введён турбонаддув.

Two Range Rovers (s/n 35800231A and other one) were supplied by Rover for the British Trans-Americas Expedition from Anchorage, Alaska to Tierra del Fuego between December 1971 and August 1972. The expedition was led by John Blashford-Snell. Both vehicles were the LHD Swiss market specification and were modified by the company with roof racks, bridging ladders, capstan winches, double front bumper, off-road tyres, single rear seat and stowage for vast amounts of equipment and supplies.
