Porsche 550 Coupe (550-002) '1953

Шасси 550-002 - второй автомобиль из серии и последнее купе 550. В 1953 году дебютировал в гонке 24 часа Ле-Мана на пару со своим "старшим братом" - шасси 550-001. В экипаж обоих авто входили Ганс Херрманн (Hans Herrmann), Хельм Глоклер (Helm Glockler) и два пилота-журналиста - Ричард фон Франкенберт (Richard von Frankenbert) и Поль Фрер (Paul Frere). Оба автомобиля показали на прямой Mulsanne скорость в 124 миль/ч (около 225 км/ч), что стало рекордом для класса. Итогом гонки для Porsche стали 1 и 2 места в классе "1500 сс". Позже 550-002 выступил в 1000 км Буэнос-Айреса и 12 часах Себринга, в обеих гонках финишировал на 2 месте после 550-001.
