The machine is powered by four maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries with a system voltage of 48 V and a total capacity of 22 kWh. The battery pack drives two highly efficient electric motors (one for traction, one for the hydraulic services) giving the operator the control and manoeuvrability expected from a Thwaites dumper.
The Thwaites electric wheel dumper with 180° rotatable high dump bucket (Hi-Swivel) is designed with performance, safety and the environment in mind. Charging is possible via a standard 230 V socket or with an external fast charger, ensuring maximum flexibility on the construction site.
Each dumper is equipped as standard with:
- SAHR handbrake (spring-assisted with hydraulic release);
- ROPS safety roll bar;
- Tow bar;
- LED beacon;
- Full LED Road lighting including daytime running lights;
- Acoustic reversing alarm.
