Москвич-2142 '1988–95

Прототип седана на базе Москвича-2141 был показан публике в 1988 году. Планировали начать производство с двигателем Москвич-414 в 1992 году. Директор АЗЛК Коломников хотел начать выпуск новой модели только с новым мотором. В серию седан так и не пошел, а прототипы с различными, в том числе импортными двигателями, строили еще несколько лет.
