Yellow Coach '1923–44

Компания Yellow Coach Manufacturing Co. была основана в 1923 году Джоном Д. Герцем (John D. Hertz) как дочерняя компания компании Yellow Cab Company и была одной из первых компаний по производству автобусов в Соединенных Штатах Америки.

Компания General Motors стала владельцем контрольного пакета акций компании в 1925 году и сменила название на Yellow Truck & Coach Manufacturing Company. В 1943 году General Motors полностью приобрела компанию и сформировала подразделение GM Truck & Coach. Хотя GM продолжал выпускать модели Yellow Coach, значок Yellow Coach был заменен в 1944 году на заводскую эмблему GM.
