As FWHL noticed, this picture shows the "Olympique 92" limited edition of the Renault range. These cars were purposely built for the Winter Olympic Games of 1992 which take place in the Alps, around the town of Albertville in France.

The Alpine A610 in the center of the image was (at first) build as a lone copy in Autumn 1991 but orders were kept open. Only one more was build in February 1992 ordered by the Renault Zürich reseller. There are only two differences between the twins due to respective law regulations of the two countries: they have a different exhaust system and the french model as yellow low beam lights.

Specifications of the A610 Albertville 92 limited edition from the base model are: Gardenia white 303 body paint, wheels are painted accordingly with diamond finish, blue adhesive strippings on the doors depicting a skier, Albertville 92 badge under the engine grill, light gray leather seats with blue piping and the optional Pioneer CD player is equipped as standard.

The other models of this special edition were based on their respective high-end line, just under the luxury "Baccara" line:

- Clio RT 1.7 Olympique 92 (1800 copies) ;

- R19 TXI Olympique 92 (500 copies) ;

- R21 TXI Olympique 92 (300 copies) ;

- R25 TXI Olympique 92 (300 copies) ;

- Espace RXE V6i Olympique 92 (100 copies) ;

And 49 copies of the Jeep Cherokee (the XJ was a joint project between Renault & AMC and Renault was the official Jeep reseller for the french market).

@moderators:

- this picture should be moved in "Alpine A610" (it is not an Alpine GTA), maybe also cloned in every Jeep and Renault models categories ;

- and it should be tagged as a "limited edition".
