Как Liebherr пришёл в Ненцинг?

На заводе Liebherr-Werk Ehingen (Германия) в начале 1970-х годов не хватало производственных площадей для строительства морских кранов. Основатель компании Ханс Либхерр отправился на поиски нового места. Он знал, что если на небольших площадях производить слишком много продукции, то не останется пространства для роста. Либхерр нашёл подходящий вариант на стыке трёх государств: Германии, Австрии и Швейцарии. Завод Liebherr в Ненцинге был основан в 1976 году. В 1977 году, когда в кинотеатрах вышел первый фильм «Звездные войны», завод приступил к работе. Тогда коллектив насчитывал меньше 100 человек, но они гордились тем, что будут строить в Альпах судовые и оффшорные краны Liebherr.
