За основу был взят M3 Evolution II, но на M3 "Johnny Cecotto Edition" были установлены противотуманные фары вместо патрубков охлаждения тормозов. Ещё одной отличительной чертой были колёсные диски диаметром 16 дюймов, центр которых был выкрашен в чёрный цвет.
