В 1975-76 годах в Португалии был разработан стандарт городского автобуса по аналогии с опытом Германии. В результате в городах Португалии появились автобусы , которые имели почти идентичные кузова, построенные португальскими кузовными компаниями Camo, UTIC или Caetano.
