Luiz Otávio Silveira, gestor de suprimentos e manutenção da Rodap, apostou nos chassis VW. A empresa recebeu 18 unidades do Volksbus 9.160 OD Urban, e mais cinco do Volksbus 17.230 ODS (com suspensão a ar), todos já em operação, sendo que os Volksbus 17.230 ODS estão em nova linha troncal no município de Ribeirão das Neves, região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte.
