Данный Ягуар был построен в единственном экземпляре фирмой Бертоне по заказу очень известного публициста из "Weekend Telegraph" - Джона Энсти (John Anstey).

По его требованию, автомобиль должен был обладать как спортивным характером, так и комфортом, обеспечивающим безопасность и удовольствие от вождения.

Машина построена на шасси Ягуар И-тайп 2+2 с использованием 4,2-литровой рядной "шестерки".
