В 1981 году по заказу троллейбусной системы швейцарского города Fribourg была изготовлена партия из двух одинарных троллейбусов. Троллейбусы имели одинаковое шасси Volvo B58-55 и электродвигатели мощностью 165 кВт (225 л.с.) и получили бортовые No 41 и 42. Кузов изготовила швейцарская компания Carrosserie Hess AG, электрооборудование совместно изготовили швейцарские компании Société Anonyme des Ateliers de Sécheron (SAAS) и Brown, Boveri & Cie (BBC).
