В 1975 году по заказу компании Compagnie genevoise des tramways électriques (CGTE), оператора городского общественного транспорта в Женеве (Швейцария), была изготовлена партия из 18 троллейбусов на шасси FBW 91 GTS. Кузов изготовила швейцарская компания Carrosserie Hess AG, электрооборудование швейцарских компаний Société Anonyme des Ateliers de Sécheron (SAAS) и Brown, Boveri & Compagnie (BBC). Позже, в 1983-84 гг. по заказу Compagnie des Transports publics du Littoral Neuchâtelois (TN), транспортной компании в швейцарском городе Невшатель и его окрестностях, было изготовлено и поставлено еще 12 аналогичных троллейбусов.
