1954 MV Agusta 125 Monoalbero Corsa

Engine No. 150091

Produced for privateers entering road races such as the Moto Giro, the MV Agusta 125 Monoalbero, or single overhead camshaft, was nearly identical to the Works grand prix racer. A favourite amongst riders, including a young Mike Hailwood, the 125 Monoalbero was very successful in its time.

Frame number 150091, offered here, is one such machine. Though the early history of it has since been lost to time, this 125 was found in a Swiss collection. The motorcycle was then subject to an extensive restoration in the early 2000s by an MV specialist. In excellent condition throughout, it is obvious that no expense was spared at the time, and all the details are as original as can be found.
