В 1950-ых годах мистер Аустерман (Mr. Austermann) и мистер Хартман (Mr. Hartmann) из Варендорфа (Германия) нарисовали и затем построили свой первый жилой прицеп – "Falter I". В 1952 году его переименовали в "Hartmann". В 1955 году был построен легендарный кемпер "Knospe". В 1966 году Вильгелм Саур (Wilhelm Saure) из Хердекке (Германия) приобретает компанию Austermann в Зассенберге и основывает "Wilhelm Saure KG".

В 1981 году была создана компания LMC (Lord Münsterland Caravan GmbH).
