Marcus Grönholm drove the 850-horsepower Ford Fiesta rallycross car, developed by the Nynäshamn-based team Olsbergs Motor Sport Evolution, to second place in the so-called "unlimited" class. His time was the fifth best of all in the 87th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs, USA. Grönholm also took home the "Newcomer of the Year" award for his time - 11 minutes and 28.963 seconds - on the 20-kilometer stretch up the well-known Pikes Peak Highway with its 156 curves.
