Diamond T

Фирма начинала свою деятельность в Чикаго в 1905 году с изготовления престижных легковых машин. Символизировать их выдающиеся качества должно было название Diamond (алмаз), а чтобы отличаться от многочисленных тёзок, её хозяин C. A. Tilt добавил к нему первую букву своей фамилии. Так родилась знаменитая фирма и марка Diamond T.

В 1958 году компания White приобрела Diamond T, в 1960 году производство было перенесено в Лэнсинг, штат Мичиган. В 1967 году Diamond T и REO были реорганизованы в фирму Diamond REO.
