Ausa has launched the 2,5 tonne D 250 AHGA articulated rotating site dumper designed specifically for the Central European and Scandinavian markets.

The hopper of the D 250 AHGA incorporates a scissor lift system that allows both frontal and lateral hi-tipping- a feature that eases the loading and unloading process, according to the company.

Project manager for Ausa, Jonathan Fenoy said, "Due to its configuration and geometry, the D 250 AHGA dumper is the most stable machine on the market, under any working conditions.

"When it comes to design, safety comes first, both static and dynamic, with special attention given to defining the centre of gravity, making it as low as possible."

Improved stability is obtained using a highly compact scissor lift system, which occupies less space and therefore does not alter the centre of gravity of the machine, as generally occurs with conventional systems, Mr Fenoy added.

Machine stability has also been enhanced by increasing the width of the lift channel, without reducing the rotation capacity and by incorporating a rear counterweight. This comprises a single-shell steel body that acts as a counterbalance while also protecting the exterior structure.

The new dumper is also equipped with a weight limit safety system for loads that exceed 2,5 tonnes, deactivating the lifting system in the event of a hopper overload and guaranteeing the stability of the machine under any circumstances.

Ausa said the D250 AHGA offers easy and comfortable handling, by means of joystick control, as well as an additional control lever for the lifting system.

The D 250 AHGA features a hydraulic hi-tip rotating version, with a maximum tip of 1800 mm.
