Первый прототип One-77 был показан в 2008 году на Автосалоне в Париже. Серийная версия дебютировала в 2009 году на Женевском автосалоне, но доводка автомобиля затянулась еще на полтора года - первые клиенты получили машины только в октябре 2010 года.
