Joy Global has launched its latest addition to the hard rock mining sector with the Joy 16TD truck.

Based on the popular DT-1804 truck model, the 16TD features lower hood lines for improved visibility, a digital operator display, shorter turning radius, ground level maintenance and faster speed ramps. The 16TD is commercially available and replaces the DT-1804 model.

The first machine came off the line at the end of September and was set to debut at the Acapulco Mining Show held 7-10 October, but immediately sold to a customer.
