С уходом из студии Italdesign Giugiaro ее основателя Джорджетто Джуджаро в автомобильном дизайне закончилась целая эпоха. В этой связи интересно будет вспомнить, что первым проектом студии был революционный концепт-кар Bizzarrini Manta — однообъемный и клиновидный Gran Turismo, дебютировавший на Туринском автосалоне в ноябре 1968 года.
