В 1986 году в Энгельсе начали строить еще два опытных образца ЗИУ-6202. Однако дело затянулось, и машины смогли доделать лишь к декабрю 1988-го. Они получили ТИСУ фирмы Energoinvest (г. Сараево, Югославия), а на испытания вышли уже в 1989-м. Машины оказались «проблемными», их нормальную работу наладить не удалось, и они были разобраны.
