October 21, 1965-Debuted at the press conference held at the Tokyo Hilton Hotel (currently Capitol Tokyu Hotel) for the press. Reference exhibit at the 12th Tokyo Motor Show on 29th of the same month.

Published in August 1965 Subaru 1000 Catalog for the 12th Tokyo Motor Show

May 14, 1966-"Subaru 1000 Launch Presentation" held at Takanawa Prince Hotel. Started sales in Tokyo, Aichi and Osaka. Model name: A522. Nationwide deployment completed in July.
