Horsch has partnered with Leeb, the German manufacturer of trailed and self-propelled sprayers, to form a new company, Horsch Leeb Application Systems GmbH. The new business will be headed by Theodor Leeb, managing director of Leeb, and will draw on Horsch’s own plant protection department and the Leeb development department together are working hard to develop new and innovative sprayer technology. In addition, the existing Leeb sales base will be extended by Horsch’s well-established international sales network.

Two new sprayers, the Horsch Leeb PT 270 and Horsch Leeb GS 6000, will make their first public appearances at the Horsch Practical Field Days in the Czech Republic during June and July. The sprayers will also be on show on Horsch’s stand at Agritechnica 2011. Horsch UK expects to show the new products to UK customers next year.

Horsch will introduce its latest Leeb PT270 self-propelled sprayer to UK customers at the 2013 Lamma Show. Claimed to be one of the most technically advanced sprayers on the market today, it is designed for reliable, precision spraying over large fields at speed.
