В 1947 году заводом УралЗиС на шасси ЗиС-5 был разработан самосвал модели 351 - первый автомобиль с собственной нумерацией завода. В 1950-х такие самосвалы выпускались в небольших количествах для нужд Челябинской области, города Миасса и самого завода.
