Для создания Thunderbird 2 на автомобильном шасси был взят минивэн Toyota Previa 1994 года. Корпус изготовлен из металла и имеет яркий оттенок зеленой краски с желтыми акцентами. Изготовлен по мотивам британского научно-фантастического телевизионного сериала "Thunderbirds", который первоначально шел с 1965 по 1966 год.
