Let's celebrate the birthday of designer Paul Smith by looking back at his 1998 special edition - limited to 1800 cars in iconic Paul Smith Blue. Legend has it that, at his meeting with the car's designers, Smith chose the colour based on the shirt he was wearing that day, tearing off a part and handing it to the astounded designers as a sample.
