Модель 31011 оснащалась 120-сильным ЗМЗ-53 объемом 4.2 л и 4-ступенчатой МКПП, 31012 и 31013 - будущие наследники ГАЗ-23 и ГАЗ-24-24 - комплектовались 195-сильным мотором от "Чайки" ГАЗ-13.
