Это были модернизированные M35A2 с переработанным фронтальным внешним видом, заменой механической на автоматическую коробку передач и прочими улучшениями. Это была последняя модификация серии M35, на смену которой в январе 1996 года пришла серия FMTV (Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles).
