
Outside broadcast (OB) van specially built to design for the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) by John Mackay and Sons in October 1932. It had special cupboards for batteries, padded cupboards for microphones and amplifiers, two seats for announcers, reinforced roof for commentators to stand on, and side windows to enable descriptions from inside on rainy days.
