Впервые на гонках «24 часа Ле-Мана» 2,2-литровый 4-цилиндровый Skyactiv-D появится на спортивном прототипе LMP2 команды Dempsey Racing в 2013 году. Ее основателем является американский актер Патрик Демпси.
