October 1969: 1275 GT introduced. Price £834. December 1970: Final-drive ratio changed from 3.65:1 to 3.44:1. December 1971: Improved driveshaft CV boot. February 1972: Improved synchromesh (engine 22958). May 1974: Temperature-controlled air intake system now fitted (power output now 54bhp). June 1974: Larger non-cervo front disc brakes fitted with larger 12in wheels, plus new 7.5gal fuel tank. New numbering system from XE2D2 101. May 1976: Changes as Clubman, interior improvements (chassis 342896). August 1976: Denovo wheels and tyres standard (chassis 455914). October 1979: Black door mirrors and rain gutter standard. August 1980: 1275 GT discontinued.
