JBM Motors to roll out city buses in March

The CityLife is a 12-metre-long bus and comes with six variants in both in diesel and CNG options. The low floor bus with 340mm entry without step and has a 41-seating capacity.

As the commercial vehicle segment gears up to return to growth after two years of a slowdown, JBM Motors, part of the US$ 1.2 billion JBM Group, is all set to roll out its city buses next month.

The company, which had showcased its city bus called ‘Citylife’ at the Delhi Auto Expo in February 2014, will start customer deliveries from March 2015.

Greater Noida, February 6, 2014: India’s leading auto components manufacturer, JBM Group today launched its first True Low Floor Bus – ‘CITYLIFE’ that has been especially designed for intra-city travel in India. ‘CITYLIFE’ was launched with much fanfare at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 in Greater Noida.

Backed by a total investment of Rs.500cr, the bus will be manufactured in technological partnership with renowned European bus-maker BredaMenarinibus (BMB).
