SEPANG – The partnership of James Veerapan and Tengku Ezan Ley Tengku Mahaleel, powered by the Proton Suprima S for the first time, clocked a stunning average best lap time of 2 minutes 37.103 seconds to leave their more established rivals like defending champions, Honda Malaysia Racing Team (HMRT), and two-time winner Type R Engineering, trailing their wake.

The duo also outclassed their teammates – Malaysia’s Drift King and Ezan’s elder brother, Tengku Djay Ley and two-time Malaysian Super Series champion, Syafiq Ali, whose best time was 2 minutes 37.364 seconds.
