The C284 made its debut at the 1984 Monza 1000, where Mallock, Scottish David Duffield and Mike Wilds qualified the car twentyfirst and finished the race tenth, second in the C2 class. After Monza the car started two more rounds of the World Championship, Silverstone and Le Mans, didn’t finish both of them. Had its last race at Brands Hatch, in the 1984 British Grand Prix Thundersports supporting race, where it qualified second and retired because of a bad crash, that totalled the car.
