На заднем плане среднемагистральный пассажирский 4-моторный реактивный самолёт Douglas Aircraft Company \ McDonnell Douglas DC-8 итальянской авиакомпании Alitalia – Società Aerea Italiana S.p.A. Авиакомпания использовала эти самолёты в 3-х вариантах исполнения с апреля 1960 года по апрель 1981 года в общем количестве 27 шт. Ко всему DC-8 стал первым в мире гражданским самолётом, преодолевшим звуковой барьер, развившим скорость свыше 1200 км\час. в 1961 году., а также был самым большим реактивным пассажирским самолётом до 1970 года.
