Мусоровоз на базе ГАЗ-51Д - шасси с укороченным свесом рамы для самосвалов ГАЗ-93А. Их выпускали на МЗСА по 90 штук в месяц на протяжении полутора десятка лет. Заказы на 93М поступали со всей территории Советского Союза.
