'95 Mercedes -Benz S600 Pullman Guard (W140) именно выставочный первый, он тут на сайте засветился. Отличие от серии 1996 года, у него в средней вставке дополнительная стойка ближе к задней двери, на последующих серийных, она переместилась вперёд. Есть резон разложить машинки на две полки. Если у уважаемых модераторов та то выкроится время. А то своё ж заливать могут не поспеть... :-)

Sure 243327 was the only one with "additional pillar closer to the rear door". Other 26 PGs were different.

Of course it's reasonable to suspect the origin of #608.

One of the famous version is Helmut Kohl's gift. Could be quote from magazine 《автопилот》февраль 1998, and book 《ИСТОРИЧЕСКИЙ ВЕСТНИК ГАРАЖ ОСОБОГО НАЗНАЧЕНИЯ》 2016. (Fact)

The car was 1st Pullman manufactured by Mercedes-Benz and Duchatelet from end of 1994. Finished before IAA in October 1995 and showed to public. Then modified to cut one seat (the one opposite Mr president). Delievered together with #607 in December 1995. (Fact)

The Initial purpose can't be Kohl's "Dienstwagen" because stretched limousine never happened before and after this. And black floormat and grey leather combination shows the car modified under tight schedule because S klasse Guards for ГОН were grey interior until 1997 model year. German partner would predicted correct combination if they want build it for old friends. (Opinion)

One source from Mercedes《Intern》 magazin indicated the Pullman proejct was started because an Asian country's ordered 3 pieces. One employee in charged of Daimler press department at that era told me sometimes reports were "camouflauged", to avoid troubles keywords like countries might be replaced. Judge by the facts, KVDR ordered the 2nd and 3rd S 600 Pullman Guard after #608 in same paint/interior. And purchase 12 unarmored S 600 Pullman in 1997-1998. Which took 2/3 of the whole production. (Fact)

Therefore #608 could be a surprise for ГОН.They came late when it showed to public,then purchased the 1st KVDR car. (Opinion)
