Auto-Union Germany

Это имя известно как название концерна, но в 1958-62 гг. с ним выпускались и автомобили. Концерн создал Юрген Расмуссен, основатель и владелец DKW. Сначала он выкупил обанкротившиеся Аudi и Rickenbacker (США), вывез из Америки оборудование и перевез его в Audi, а затем у него закончились деньги. Он вынужден был объединиться с Wanderer и Horch. Союз покрывал все секторы рынка: DKW - самые дешевые, Wanderer - средние, Audi - до¬рогие, Horch] - самые дорогие. Вместе с Mercedes-Benz получил средства от Гитлера на ав¬тоспорт. Выступал под именем Auto-Union с конструкциями Порше. С 1935 г. до начала вой¬ны поделил с Mercedes-Benz все победы в Гран-При. С 1968 г. Auto-Union входит в группу VW и выпускает автомобили Audi.
