With the Fendt Katana 850, Fendt is entering the 800hp+ forage harvester market. Innovations such as the revised crop flow, the reversible fan with variable fan blade pitch technology fan and a new 12-row header meet the requirements for high efficiency and output. Ten years after the delivery of the first Fendt Katana forage harvesters, Fendt is expanding it's forage harvester model range with a powerful new generation of machines.

The Fendt Katana 850 is equipped with an in-line 6-cylinder engine from Liebherr. With a displacement of 18 litres, it has an output of 847 hp/623 kW (ECE R120). The engine complies with the European Stage V emissions standard with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) without a diesel particulate filter or exhaust gas recirculation. This protects the engine, reduces the required cooling power and fuel consumption while meeting all standards.

The Fendt Katana 850 can be ordered from August 2022 and will be delivered for the 2023 season.
