В середине 1941 г. American LaFrance заменил свою 500 Series на обновленную и улучшенную 600 Series. Грузовики получили ряд технических усовершенствований, хотя внешне были практически идентичны. Также, решетка грузовиков 500 Series имела по 3 тонких бруса в каждой из четырех секций, в то время как 600 Series - по 4.
