American LaFrance продолжил разработку еще более мощных 6-цилиндровых двигателей для привода насосов возросшей производительности. К 1915 г. компания предлагала 2 сверхмощных высокопроизводительных насосных автомобиля - Type 15 (1913-1925) и Type 19 (1915-1928). Type 15 имел двигатель мощностью 200 л.с. и насос производительностью 5300 л/мин - почти столько же, сколько выдавали самые большие паровые насосы.
