Porsche 917 KH, Porsche 917/30 Can-Am Spyder, Porsche 917/10 Can-Am Spyder, Porsche 917 LH

Модификация с короткой хвостовой частью (К - "kurzheck") для участия в гонках на трассах с частыми поворотами и небольшим количеством скоростных прямых. Короткая хвостовая часть несколько ухудшала аэродинамику по сравнению с версией "langheck", однако давала хорошую манёвренность. Именно модель 917К принесла Porsche свою первую полную победу в легендарном марафоне "24 Часа Ле-Мана".

Для участия в чемпионате Can-Am 1973 года было собрано два шасси 917/30 - №917/30-002 и №917/30-003, выступал на которых Марк Донохью за команду Sunoco Penske (№6).
