Vittorio Brambilla im von Alpina eingesetzten BMW 3.0 CSL beim ETCC-Rennen in Monza (1977 г.).

Im Rennen fiel Brambilla, der sich das Auto mit Alpina-Stammpiloten Dieter Quester teilte, nach einem Getriebeschaden aus. Trotzdem war der BMW 3.0 CSL der erfolgreichste Rennwagen der ETCC-Geschichte. Denn sechsmal fuhren die Titelträger das Coupé aus München.
