CRESTMEAD, Queensland (28 April, 2014) - John Deere’s versatile 6M Series Tractors are designed to meet the needs of livestock, arable and speciality farms, and offer more power, functionality and operator comfort than their 6030 Series predecessors. The 6M range includes models from 77 kW to 125 kW (105 to 170 engine hp).

The 6115M, 6125M, 6130M and 6140M models are equipped with Stage IIIB compliant 4.5-litre four-cylinder John Deere PowerTech™ PVX engine, while the larger 6150M and 6170M are powered by a Stage IIIB 6.8-litre six-cylinder John Deere PowerTech PVX engine. Using field-proven technologies to meet the latest emissions standards, these fuel efficient diesel-only engines feature cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) and an exhaust filter.
