Leading National Hirer Plantforce has placed an order for £4.2m in a major site dumper fleet deal with Thwaites.

The deal which consists of 105 site dumpers, 58 of which are 9-tonne Front Tip cabbed dumpers, completes one of the largest fleet deals in recent times.

New legislation regarding operator protection will come into force in the Spring of 2025. This legislation states that all site dumpers, with an unladen weight in excess of 4.5 Tonne must have a production fitted cab, that is in line with ROPS and FOPS ISO 3471 & 3449.

With standard features such as road lights, air-con, front and rear cameras, screen guard, green and orange beacons, Thwaites cabbed dumpers are recognised as being ready for all environments and applications.
