The buses, which are the first of their kind in the UK outside of London, represent a £2.2m investment and build on the £1.7m investment made in 10 new buses in 2015. It’s the aim of Blackpool Transport to have every one of their buses no older than five years by 2020.

The iconic Palladium branding and livery was designed in collaboration between Blackpool Transport and public transport specialists JR Buzz for these Enviro400 City vehicles, providing a sleek exterior to the new design. They also host a variety of added benefits including E-Leather seats, wood effect flooring, free WiFi and USB charging points on the lower deck, along with next stop audio announcements.
