На этом известном рекордном авто 29 марта 1927 английский гонщик Генри Сигрейв (Henry Segrave) на гоночном треке Дайтона-Бич впервые в истории преодолел 200-мильный рубеж и установил мировой рекорд скорости 203.79 mph (327.97 km/h).

Автомобиль имел 2 авиационных двигателя, установленных впереди и позади кокпита. Не смотря на название 1000HP реальная суммарная мощность двигателей составляла 900 л.с.
